Relaxing Outdoor Unforgettable Adventures

A new camp concept for children and young people

Hi! We are the team Outdoor Adventures and we are pleased to present you our program of knowledge camps and development of social-emotional intelligence.
In the camps Outdoor Adventures fun, goodwill and camaraderie are at home, and each camp we organize has exceptional characteristics that have made us multiply the concept of personal development camps. (See PowerPoint presentation)
The number of places in the camps is usually limited to 35 so that each child is given special attention and care.
Our valuable resource is Outdoor Adventures Team. It is made up of personal development specialists from Romania who, together with collaborators from Bavaria - Germany, make the best association between Romanian curiosity and German discipline.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why Outdoor Adventures?
Because we organize some of the most interesting camps for children in Romania, we have experience in working with children and we believe we can be the best in this field.

Where are the camps taking place?
Summer camps are organized in locations away from the hustle and bustle of civilization, offering the best opportunities for learning, play and development. City Break camps are organized in locations with the most beautiful views.

Who looks after your children?
Your children are observed, supervised and guided by personal development specialists. The emphasis is on the safety of your children as well as on teaching them mountain behavior and the main rules for adapting to the community.
The instructors are experienced in working with children and young people, and the climbing and survival activities in the forest and beyond are carried out in the safest possible conditions.

How many members does the Outdoor Adventures team have?
During the children's summer camp season, the team consists of 3 or 4 members who work harmoniously together to cover all the activities and needs of a camp (games, hiking, accommodation, meals, transportation, equipment, e.t.c.).

Where are the children staying?
Camps are generally organized in Bavaria in special 4-star rated buildings. Here children enjoy rest and quiet in the dormitories, recreation in the games rooms, learning in the classrooms and workshops. In the open air there is outdoor recreation on the specially designed sports fields, and during the day there are organized basketball and volleyball activities. The surroundings are bountiful in fresh air and greenery, with the chalets situated at an altitude of about 800-900 m in the Bavarian Forest Mountains.

Is there medical supervision in the camp?
Your children's health is supervised by the team members and in the mountain resorts there are specialized doctors, and interventions are carried out by helicopter when necessary.
We take health issues very seriously and, if necessary, we can work with you to take all the necessary measures to resolve any situation.
As children are very active at the camps, each child's family doctor's agreement that he/she is medically fit for moderate physical exertion is required for enrolment.

Why a maximum of 35 children?
Activities at Outdoor Adventures camps require a great deal of involvement and attention from us so that every child is given the attention, care and guidance they need. This principle underpins our camp philosophy, which we proudly call social-emotional intelligence development camps. At summer camp Outdoor Adventures your child learn:

  • how to hike in the mountains, how to follow a tourist route.
  • how to climb, how to equip themselves and how to be aware of their situation.
  • how to build a campfire, how to use ropes to carry firewood.
  • how to set up a tent, how to pitch it and how to organize its interior.
  • how to give moral support to his teammates, which he will also enjoy in 'difficult' situations at camp.
It's all about learning and experiencing new things that are only possible with a limited number of children.
We want every child to feel special and to come back to you with new knowledge and the desire to be different, to love nature and sport, discovering all this with the team Outdoor Adventures.

How do children get around the camp?
Transportation to the mountain resort and other locations is by bus or public transportation for City Break camps.
Hikes on accessible trails in the Bavarian Forest are organized during the day as well as forays into the quiet of the night.

What is the program of camps per day?
Depending on the specifics of the camp there are certain meal times, wake-up and curfew times and the fact that whatever the weather is like outside during the day the activities will be safe. Children are involved in setting the dates and times of the activities so that they can spend as much time as possible outdoors, in the mountains or participating in other mountain and personal development activities.
During the camp, the children have 2 hours per day of German language learning, beginners or advanced, in a teaching system or interactively during the activities.

What does the price of a camp include?
The price of a summer camp includes:
