Acting European Network - Slanic Moldova
project Acting European aimed at promoting volunteering as a form of European citizenship and developing a tool to support it by strengthening the NGO environment in Bacau and Neamt Counties. Thus, some students from Piatra Neamt took part in the third edition of this project in which an inter county strategy was developed to promote participatory democracy among young people especially in schools, and to strengthen the sustainable partnership between NGOs, schools, authorities and media.
Volunteers who participated on behalf of JuvenALA Association to this project are: Tudor Stanciu, Pruna Cristiana Anamaria, Ștefănescu Ioana and Gradinaru Maria Bianca. Together they spent several days of July in Slanic Moldova, where they worked together with other volunteers to create a network to promote volunteering and personal development of young people.
- The days at Slanic were unforgettable, wonderful, I never had so much fun as I did then. I'll never forget the sleepless nights, the pranks played on colleagues, the midnight swims in the pool, the long sessions, the team games that bonded friendships and especially those wonderful people who treated you as if they had known you all their lives. In this project we not only worked on the network but we all had a life experience. An experience in which we really learned what teamwork and true friendship means.- Grădinaru Maria Bianca
