Educational forest

Forests are one of the most structurally complex components of the terrestrial environment and are of great economic, social and ecological importance. It ensures air and water quality, is a climate regulator, a habitat for animals and plants, protects land and soil - thanks to its trees, has a moderate climate that influences the surrounding areas (water circulation, winds, air circulation, etc.). It maintains humidity and lowers extreme summer and winter temperatures. It also reduces the strength of winds, prevents floods and landslides and soil erosion. Through photosynthesis, it enriches the atmosphere with oxygen, helping to sustain life. For modern man, the forest is a place of recreation, rest and sometimes therapy. People have always used wood from forest trees as fuel and material for various objects.
